  • What is Your Teamo Lottery?
    Your Teamo Lottery is a draw which takes place on the last Friday of every month. Each ticket gives you the chance of winning one of our fantastic cash prizes. Each entry costs just £5.
     
  • Why is Your Teamo Lottery running a monthly lottery?
    A lottery is a fun and engaging way for us to raise funds. The lottery is promoted and run to help raise essential funds for local charities, sports clubs, and community groups hit hard by the Coronavirus Pandemic. % of the profits from the lottery go to supporting these wonderful organisations.
     
  • How does the lottery work?
    Upon sign up members will be allocated a unique 4 number lottery chance in the range of 1-72, for example 14-21-34-68. Every month 13 winning numbers will be drawn. Winning numbers must be matched in the same order and place that they appear in the winning sequence. You will also be allocated 4 unique jackpot numbers in the range 1-72 (Example 14.21.34.68). This number will be entered into the jackpot draw to win £10,000. Again, the numbers must be matched in the same order and place they appear in the winning sequence.
     
  • Can you guarantee the lottery is fair?
    Yes, every £10 entry has an equal chance of winning, and the winning numbers are drawn at random.
     
  • How are the lottery proceeds used?
    Of each £10 subscription received from your members, 70% goes to administration and running costs (printing, bank charges, system costs, registration costs and salaries), 30% is paid out in prizes and % is received by your charity or sports club to go towards your worthy cause and work.
     
  • What are the prizes?
    The level of prizes equates to 30% of turnover.
     
  • How old do I have to be to enter?
    You must be aged 18 or over to enter the lottery.
     
  • How do Supporters buy entries?
    Supporters can buy entries through your website by setting up a Direct Debit lottery subscription, which is the easiest way to ensure your supporters are entered into the draw each month.
    Alternatively, they can telephone us on 0843 122 2125 and we would be happy to send out an entry form
     
  • Can members have more than one entry?
    Yes, members can have up to 4 entries per draw. Each £10 entry buys you two 'chances' of winning in our lottery. We offer a maximum of 2 entries each month per person in accordance with our commitment to responsible gambling.
     
  • Are my entries eligible for Gift Aid?
    Unfortunately, we cannot claim Gift Aid on funds raised through the lottery.
     
  • Can Members choose their own lottery numbers?
    These are chosen randomly and will be their numbers for the duration of their membership of our lottery. When they enter the lottery, they will be sent their unique numbers.
     
  • How do supporters know that they are in the draw?
    Within 21 days of registration they will receive a confirmation letter and welcome pack which contains details of their unique lottery number(s) and the date of the first draw their tickets are entered into. They will be entered into the draw when they have monies available, and they will continue to be entered into the draw as long as they have monies available against their lottery number.
     
  • How long can members play for?
    Members can play our lottery for as long as they wish. Following successful payment, they will continue to be entered into the draw as long as they have monies available against their play number.
     
  • How will I know if a member as won a prize?
    Once the draw has taken place, winners are notified by post. There is no need to claim a prize as this is sent straight to their address!
     
  • What are the lottery rules?
    The lottery rules are available on your club Teamo app. The purpose of these rules is to ensure members are informed about the terms of playing our lottery, and to promote responsible gambling.
     
  • What is responsible gambling?
    Responsible gambling means staying in control of how much time and money we spend on gambling. Responsible gambling means not spending more money or time than we can reasonably afford on gambling activities, keeping in mind all our other responsibilities in life.
     
  • Is the lottery legal?
    Yes, we operate in compliance with all Gambling Commission (the UK regulatory body concerned with lotteries) requirements.
